I had a blast with everyone at the Battle of Dry Creek Reenactment. I met a lot of interesting people and learned a few things in the process.
I've posted 253 photos online for your enjoyment. Here's the deal...
I hold copyright on all of these images. I give you as a reenactor or organizer of the Battle of Dry Creek reenactment permission to use these images for personal use, and to use them on battleofdrycreek.org. Each image is available at full size for download from within the links below. Consider this my thank-you for continuing to organize and participate in such an awesome event.
If there are other reenactors who were there that did not get a card from me, feel free to pass a link to this page along to them. If any of you would like a Facebook sized image of any of these and aren't sure how to resize something yourself properly, hit me up on Facebook and I'll be glad to provide a more appropriately sized image.
Feel free to order prints directly from my site - but don't feel obligated to do so. I've attached a special seriously reduced rate for prints that makes an 8x10 $12 - usually I charge $35 À la carte or packages starting at $250. Each image in the gallery has a download link in the bottom right near the "Buy" button if you want a picture but don't want to buy a print from me. Most studios would charge a customer $2000 or more for that.
Some photos will need to be printed at 4x6 or 8x12 size to get the full image. One image is a panorama sized for 8x20 print. All images processed to look like "Wet Plate" prints will need the 4x6 or 8x12 sizes to work properly.
To the one "civilian" couple I gave my instruction card to - the photos of the dance are in the Living History album below, but feel free to snag any others you find interesting, just like the reenactors.
